Amanda Cook garners Liberty League weekly honors

Amanda Cook was honored by the Liberty League on Monday, for the week ending March 27, 2016. She was named the Liberty League Performer of the Week.

Cook hit .476 and slugged .762 with five extra base hits and eight RBIs in six games, as RIT went 4-2. She was 4-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs in a win over Lawrence and finished the Florida trip by going 3-for-3 with three RBIs in a resounding win over Thomas. Cook is off to a tremendous start, hitting .471 with seven doubles, a home run and 16 RBIs in 10 games this season. She has a hit in nine games.
