Andrea Amati participates in RIT/NTID Student Research Fair

Andrea Amati participated in the annual Student Research Fair at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf on April 28.

Andrea, who is studying environmental science, presented research on "Effect of lead contaminated soils on lycopene content in tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum)."

The annual fair is the culmination of semester- or year-long research among teams and individuals in a variety of disciplines, and provides an opportunity for students at the associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels to develop experience in scientific research methods and presentation skills.
