Brian Reed earns Liberty League Baseball Weekly honors

Brian Reed of the RIT baseball team earned Liberty League Baseball weekly honors on Monday, for the Week ending May 1, 2016. Reed was named the Liberty League Pitcher of the Week, his first weekly honor.

Reed earned his first collegiate shutout for RIT in game one Saturday, a 5-0 win over Rochester. He scattered just four hits and one walk while striking out six batters for his first win of the season. He induced five fly outs and 10 ground outs in his 98-pitch masterpiece.
