Brianna Dimisko named Liberty League Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week

Freshman Brianna Dimisko of the RIT women's tennis team was named the Liberty League Women's Tennis Rookie of the Week honors on Monday, for the week ending Feb. 21, 2016. It is Dimisko's first weekly honor of her collegiate career.

Dimisko went 5-1 during the week, going 2-1 at third singles and 3-0 at second doubles with partner Alyssa Hering (Albion, NY/Kendall), as RIT was the runner up at the Daemen-Medaille Invitational over the weekend. Dimisko opened with a three-set singles win and 8-6 doubles win against Alfred on Saturday, and rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 win against Medaille Sunday. Later in the day, she and Hering partnered for a big 8-6 doubles win against Daemen.
