Franly Ulerio Nunez named a 2015 college delegate

2015 Jun 3

Franly Ulerio Nunez of New York was chosen as the 2015 undergraduate college delegate for Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Ulerio-Nunez is a laboratory science technology major and Student Government senator for the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. After earning his associate degree, the New York City native will stay at RIT to pursue his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. His ultimate goal is to earn his doctorate in veterinary medicine.

Each of RIT's colleges selects one or more student representative to participate in the Academic Convocation and college commencement ceremonies. The delegates' overall personal achievement demonstrates the ideals of RIT, including but not limited to academic achievement. During Academic Convocation, held this year on May 22, college delegates accept degrees on behalf of their colleges' graduates during the symbolic conferral of degrees. Each college delegate speaks at his or her college commencement ceremony.

Congratulations, Franly!
