Goaltender Terra Lanteigne named College Hockey America Rookie of the Week

Freshman goaltender Terra Lanteigne (Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia/Charles P. Allen) of the RIT women's hockey team, was named the College Hockey America Rookie of the Week on Monday, for the week ending Oct. 16, 2016. It is Lanteigne's first weekly honor. Lanteigne allowed just a pair of goals and stopped 40-of-42 shots (.952 save percentage), as the Tigers split a pair of games against Union as part of Brick City Homecoming and Family Weekend. On Friday, she made 20 saves in a 2-0 loss to Union. Saturday, Lanteigne earned her first collegiate win and shutout, stopping all 20 shots she faced in a 2-0 victory over Union. Lanteigne has a 1.50 goals agianst average and .946 save percentage in four games this season.
