Holly Leone named to IWLCA All-Empire Region team

Holly Leone of the RIT women's lacrosse team was named to the 2016 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III All-Empire Region Team announced on Monday, May 16. Leone was a second team selection.

Leone helped anchor a Tigers defense that allowed 10.81 goals per game in 2016. A co-captain, Leone started all 16 games for RIT, leading the team with 23 caused turnovers. Leone tallied a season high four ground balls versus Farmingdale State and Skidmore. She had seven games with two or more caused turnovers, including four versus William Smith on April 15.
