Jeffrey Culver of Arlington, Va., Named as RIT Distinguished Alumnus

ROCHESTER, NY (03/26/2013)(readMedia)-- Jeffrey Culver of Arlington, Va., is the recipient of a 2013 Rochester Institute of Technology Distinguished Alumni Award.

Culver, who graduated from RIT in 1982 with a degree in criminal justice, is the director of corporate security for the World Bank, where he is responsible for the safety and security of the bank's operations and personnel in Washington, D.C., and in 128 country and regional offices around the world. Prior to that, he spent 24 years working for the Bureau of Diplomatic Security.

Each year, RIT's leaders select one graduate from each of the university's nine colleges who embodies the best of RIT. This year, nine distinguished alumni stand out among the more than 111,000 accomplished graduates for celebrating creativity and demonstrating a passionate performance in their profession.
