Kaitlyn Houghtling earns Liberty League Field Athlete of the Week honors

Junior jumper Kaitlyn Houghtling (Elmira, NY/Thomas A. Edison) of the RIT women's track and field team was named the Liberty League Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, for the week ending Jan. 15, 2017. It is Houghtling's first weekly honor.

Houghtling won the long jump with a leap of 5.20 meters and took the triple jump with a leap of 10.71 meters at the RIT Tiger Invitational on Saturday at the Gordon Field House. She has the 38th best high jump in Division III this season.
