Marissa Dispenza earns Liberty League Track and Field weekly honors

Marissa Dispenza of the RIT women's track and field team was named a Liberty League Track and Field performer of the week on Monday, for the week ending Dec. 11. This is Dispenza's first weekly honor.

Dispenza won the 60-meter hurdles in a time of 9.70 seconds, and was third in the 400-meter dash (1:01.08) at the Early Season Invite on Thursday. She was also part of the 4 x 400-meter relay team that finished third in a time of 4:23.01.

The Tigers are off until Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, when they host the RIT Invitational from the Gordon Field House. That meet will begin at 10 a.m.
