Snyder enjoyed an incredible season for the Tigers in 2015-16, becoming the university's first diving All-American, placing fifth on the 1-meter board at the 2016 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship hosted by Greensboro College on March 17. On Feb. 26, Snyder became the first RIT woman to claim a regional title, as she bested a competitive field at the NCAA Region 4 Diving Championship at Cortland. In the 1-meter event, Snyder claimed the title with an 11-dive total of 450.30. Snyder, a five-time Liberty League Diver of the Week in 2015-16, won the 1-meter diving event and placed third in the 3-meter diving competition at the 2016 UNYSCSA Championships on Feb. 19-20. The 2015 Liberty League champion in the 1-meter dive, Snyder won 13 of 14 dives this season in that event. She also holds both 1- and 3-meter six-dive records at the university. On Jan. 23 against Rochester, Snyder bested her own record in the 1-meter dive by almost 35 points with a score of 328.05. In the 3-meter, Snyder broke the RIT record with a score of 264.75. On May 9, Snyder was named the 2016 RIT Comeback Athlete of the Year at the annual Athletics Banquet and Awards Ceremony. In the classroom, Snyder is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic selection and was a 2015 RIT Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar.
