Paul M. Russo of Miramar, Fla., Named as RIT Distinguished Alumnus

ROCHESTER, NY (03/26/2013)(readMedia)-- Paul M. Russo of Miramar, Fla., is the recipient of a 2013 Rochester Institute of Technology Distinguished Alumni Award.

Russo, who graduated from RIT in 2005 with a degree in health systems administration, is the director of the Bruce W. Carter Veterans Affairs Medical Center/Miami VA Health Care system, and he has dedicated more than 30 years to serving America's heroes while working for the Veterans Health Administration. He enjoys mentoring rising healthcare administrators through various professional organizations including his role as a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Each year, RIT's leaders select one graduate from each of the university's nine colleges who embodies the best of RIT. This year, nine distinguished alumni stand out among the more than 111,000 accomplished graduates for celebrating creativity and demonstrating a passionate performance in their profession.
