Rachel Tassoni chosen as commencement delegate

Rachel Tassoni has been chosen as the undergraduate delegate for RIT's College of Health Sciences and Technology during this year's commencement and convocation ceremonies. Delegates were selected based on their academic standing and will give a speech at their respective college's graduation service.

Rachel graduates with a BS in diagnostic medical sonography. She completed clinical rotations in the radiology and antenatal testing departments at Rochester General Hospital and Rochester Regional Health, performing ultrasound exams in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. Rachel completed an internship at the Rhode Island Department of Health, and studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark. At RIT, she was a member of the Honors Program and received the Outstanding Undergraduate Scholarship Award, the Excellence in Student Life Award, and the Legacy Leader Award. She is a recipient of several scholarships including the Alfred L. and Ruby C. Davis Scholarship, the Kathleen M. Keyes Memorial Scholarship, and the Nathaniel Rochester Society Scholarship. Rachel plans to pursue a full-time sonography career in Boston, Mass.
