Rebecca Schwan earns Liberty League Track and Field weekly honors

Rebecca Schwan (LeRoy, NY/LeRoy) of the RIT women's track and field team was named Liberty League Field Rookie of the Week for the week ending April 17, 2016. It is the fourth honor of the year for Schwan.

Schwan just missed breaking a school record in the 1,500-meters, placing ninth overall in a time of 4:42.94 at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted by Division I Bucknell University. On Sunday, she was RIT's top finisher in the 800-meters with a time of 2:18.77.
