Robert W. Rice of Chevy Chase, Md., Named as RIT Distinguished Alumnus

ROCHESTER, NY (03/26/2013)(readMedia)-- Robert W. Rice of Chevy Chase, Md., is the recipient of a 2013 Rochester Institute of Technology Distinguished Alumni Award.

Rice, who graduated from RIT in 1994 with a degree in management and leadership and 1997 with an MBA, is the founder, president and managing partner of BayFirst Solutions LLC, a government contracting firm specializing in risk management, information technology and homeland security. He served as chairman of the NTID Foundation Board of Directors and RIT President's Roundtable and he is now a member of the RIT Board of Trustees.

Each year, RIT's leaders select one graduate from each of the university's nine colleges who embodies the best of RIT. This year, nine distinguished alumni stand out among the more than 111,000 accomplished graduates for celebrating creativity and demonstrating a passionate performance in their profession.
