Rory Little earns 2016 All-Liberty League accolades

Rory Little of the RIT baseball team earned 2016 All-Liberty League postseason honors, as the league announced its annual awards on Tuesday, May 17. Little was a honorable mention selection.

Little, a 2015 All-Liberty League first team selection, finished 3-4 this season with 40 strikeouts and just 12 walks with three complete games, firing 57 1/3 innings. He fired a complete-game five-hitter with a season-best nine strikeouts in a 2-1 win over Clarkson on March 25. In four seasons, Little finished 13-7 with a 3.83 ERA with 107 strikeouts in 162 innings pitched.

The Tigers finished the 2016 season with an 18-22 overall record, finishing fifth in the Liberty League standings with a 12-12 mark.
