Sami Alur earns Liberty League Women's Soccer weekly accolades

Sami Alur of the RIT women's soccer team was named Liberty League Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week on Monday, for the week ending Sept. 18, 2016.

Alur tallied her first collegiate goal on Saturday at SUNY Fredonia. Her goal in the 35th minute proved to be the game-winner as RIT went on the road to beat the Blue Devils 1-0. Alur has played in five games this season, firing six shots on goal.
