Tara Lynch named to Liberty League All-Conference team

Tara Lynch of the RIT women's basketball team was selected to the 2016 Liberty League Women's Basketball All-Conference Team as selected by the coaches and announced Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Lynch was named Rookie of the Year, was named to the All-Rookie Team, and was a second team selection.

Lynch finished second on the team and was eighth in the Liberty League in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game. She set a program record for highest field goal percentage in a season, hitting 50.7 percent of her shots from the floor. Lynch scored in double figures 21 times, including a season-high 25 points on Jan. 19 versus William Smith. She averaged 6.3 rebounds per game, and had three double-doubles in 2015-16.
