Victoria Haywood earns College Hockey America weekly honors

Victoria Haywood of the RIT women's hockey team earned College Hockey America Weekly honors on Monday, for the week ending Jan. 15, 2017. She was named the Rookie of the Week. It is her first weekly honor.

Haywood recorded a goal and two assists and was plus-4 in a weekend split at Mercyhurst. Friday, she had her first collegiate multi-point outing, with two assists, in a 5-2 loss. Saturday, she scored her second collegiate goal and was plus-2 in a 5-2 win. The first-year forward has two goals and three assists this season.
