Yasmeen Smalley of Houston, Texas, Receives 2013 Leadership Award from RIT

Yasmeen Smalley of Houston, Texas, received the 2013 Walls Olson Memorial Scholarship from Rochester Institute of Technology during a ceremony April 10. This award is for students with extensive involvement or leadership in areas of student activities and campus life including, athletics, Student Government, clubs, recognized organizations activities and community service. Smalley is a fourth-year student studying photojournalism and biomedical photographic communications in RIT's College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.

Rochester Institute of Technology is internationally recognized for academic leadership in business, computing, engineering, imaging science, liberal arts, sustainability, and fine and applied arts. In addition, the university offers unparalleled support services for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
