More than two dozen Rochester Institute of Technology students with hometowns as close as Rochester and as far as India were honored at the 2015 RIT Leadership Awards Scholarship Ceremony.

More than 100 students were honored at a ceremony on April 16 as 2014-2015 Outstanding Undergraduate Scholars.

RIT's College of Liberal Arts honored student achievement in writing with the presentation of the 2015 Henry and Mary Kearse Distinguished Lecture and Student Writing Award Ceremony on April 3.

JD Harper received the American Institute of Architects New York State Student Award.

Several students at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the Deaf were honored with their families and friends at an Academic Awards Luncheon prior to their graduation ceremony.

The Legacy Leadership awards, presented by the Center for Women and Gender and the RIT Leadership Institute and Community Service Center, are given to graduating female seniors or graduate students who have significantly contributed to the RIT community during their academic careers.

Greece resident recognized for exemplary research in astrophysics

Green Township, N.J., resident Kevin Cooke was recognized with a Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Award at the 223rd American Astronomical Society meeting in Washington, D.C., in January.

Several students were named 2013-2014 Outstanding Undergraduate Scholars during a ceremony April 10 at Rochester Institute of Technology.

The competitive undergraduate fellowship is awarded to students who are interested in pursuing graduate careers in microbiology. Award recipients receive a stipend of up to $4,000, a two-year student membership to the society and reimbursement for travel expenses to the 114th American Society for Microbiology General Meeting and the society's Capstone Institute in Boston.

The Order of the Engineer, a national recognition, is given to graduates and registered engineers to foster the spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession.
